（中央社海地太子港6日綜合外電報導）國際關懷組織（CARE）今天表示，海地南部城市熱雷米（Jeremie），在威力強大的颶風馬修（Matthew）重創下，被夷為平地。
CARE海地主任威格羅（Jean-Michel Vigreux）推文：「約80%的建築被夷為平地，所有電話通訊和電力供應皆中斷。聯絡管道全斷，大家糧食資金都告急。」
法新社記者表示，較南部的主要港口城市萊凱（Les Cayes）的一座天主堂屋頂被吹走。
市中心的水泥建築堅固，幸未嚴重受損，但颶風馬修帶來的暴風豪雨，造成海岸附近一座漁村嚴重受創。椰子樹倒下壓壞數十棟鐵皮屋。
暴風雨也造成附近果園裡的香蕉和芒果農損慘重。
颶風馬修已經造成海地這個美洲最貧窮國家108人死亡。但據內政部、一位市長和其他地方官員向路透社表示，海地各地另有28人喪命，使死亡總數增至136人。與海地同處一島的多明尼加共和國也有4人喪生。（譯者：中央社劉淑琴）1051007
